The purpose of this position is to ensure production continuity, product quality and hygiene by safeguarding machine and equipment performance and continuous improvement, in accordance with company standards and procedures.
The Technical Manager reports to the Plant Manager.
The role of Technical Manager is based on the following activities:
HSE STANDARDS: Follows and supervises the application of safety rules according to company policies and regulations. Maintains order, organization and cleanliness in all assigned areas, working in line with correct workplace hygiene practices
COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION:

MAINTENANCE:
Manages the correct maintenance procedures of machinery, equipment, utilities, with the lowest impact on production plan performance
Verifies that machinery, equipment, and utilities conform to all applicable material, functional and safety requirements
Manages external consultant and suppliers’ services, finding the best offer and supervising their service
MACHINE HANDLING:
Ensures compliant and on time mould, machine and equipment management, maintenance, and servicing, strategizing in advance to devise a proper production plan and maximize equipment uptime
Cooperates with Quality and Production to address major quality issues
Guarantees support and cooperation in optimizing production processes, industrialization (including the installation of new lines) or the standardization of practices
WORKSHOP MANAGEMENT:
Ensures that critical spares are readily available and functioning. Replenish spares when necessary keeping track of trends to optimize the process
Ensures that the workshop areas are always kept orderly clean, and, more importantly, safe
PROCESS MANAGEMENT:
Develops and utilizes relevant KPI measurements to drive Continuous Improvement in production
PRODUCTION DOCUMENTS AND REPORT WRITING:
Reports on technical activities daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually
Maintains document archives (technical documents, manuals and dossiers on retrofits or other interventions) regarding machinery, equipment, or utilities
Technical Skills:
Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and electronic systems
Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment rules and practices
Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts
Basic knowledge of CAD 2D software

Education and Experience:

The Administration and Finance Manager reports to the Regional Director. The purpose of this position is to manage the company’s financial requirements while guaranteeing compliance to all accounting, taxation and legal regulations, in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Supervises and executes all needed actions to guarantee the correct management of the accounts
· Prepares profit and loss statements and relevant reports for Global HQ and the Regional Director
· Compiles the yearly budget for industrial operations and periodically monitors financial transactions tracking them against the budget
· Prepares the yearly balance sheet in compliance with local rules and company standards
· Calculates all taxes (corporate, labor, VAT, etc.) prepares reports and files declarations within stated deadlines
· Manages the relationships with the chartered accountant and financial auditors
· Provides guidance and consultancy on legal, fiscal, financial and accounting policies and regulations
· Supports the Finance HQ department in finding financial solutions and opportunities to improve the company’s position and reduce expenses
· Manages the relationship with banks, supports the HQ Finance department in negotiating financing solutions to guarantee cash flow
· Manages or provides support in managing the relationships with third parties and local authorities
· Ensures productive and efficient office operations, taking charge of utilities and service contracts, reception services and facility management
Technical Skills:
· Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
· Excellent knowledge of taxation rules and regulations
· Good knowledge of commercial and corporate law
· Excellent knowledge of business economics

TEAM MANAGEMENT:
Leads, manages, coordinates and supports the Quality Team managing priorities, eliminating bottlenecks and addressing critical issues to ensure maximum efficiency in production.
Coordinates internal resources to identify and resolve non-conformities, acting as process leader and suggesting corrective and preventive actions, ensuring proper communication with the client.
COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION:
Promotes successful long-term business strategies by effective, open two-way communication and feedback.
Ensure smooth integration and communication with other functions.
QUALITY ASSURANCE AND PROCEDURES:
Leads the implementation and ensures compliance with the company’s integrated system of

QUALITY DOCUMENTS AND REPORT WRITING: Verifies quality reports, reporting relevant issues to the Plant Manager if necessary.
ISO STANDARD: Plans and guarantees the implementation of internal audits to satisfy ISO and Food safety certification standards.
QUALITY CHECKS: Guarantees the correct execution of the quality control plan for new and existing products, supporting the team in the measurement activities, if necessary.
QUALITY CONTROL INSTRUMENTS: Ensures correct calibration of all laboratory instruments through internal control plans,
relying on internal resources and external suppliers.
PRODUCTION MATERIAL CHECKS: Ensures proper management of incoming materials.
PROCESS MANAGEMENT: Provides support in the industrialization of new products and the implementation of processes or materials, supervising process performance.
